I think that this game is actually pretty good... for a PSP game.

I played the sequel first, and whilst I did find group combat in the sequel tedious, I didn't have so much of a problem with this one.

Combat feels a little more janky in this one, but it's almost as if the game was designed with the camera angles in mind and feels much more balanced than the sequel.

The story is nothing special but I did like the ending, and the game has a lot of replay value in the form of clothing to collect, and the ability to play as different characters when you beat it.

i'd give this game a solid 7/10, and for a PSP game I'd give it an 8.

I think that this game is alright. It's a bit basic, and the strategy is really limited. Towers don't really have any synergy with each other, and there is a very obvious strategy which I think everyone will realise as soon as they start tinkering with the upgrade system.

Overall, I don't think I would recommend this game. It's just a bit basic. If you want a good tower defense that with a bit of depth to it I'd recommend Rogue Tower instead.

Early Access Review
This game is actually really interesting. My first few games went horribly, but as I began to understand the mechanics I started doing well. It's a very satisfying feeling. I can now happily play on pioneer.Oftentimes with games like this a single strategy will become king, but with the random nature of the scenarios winning becomes less about the ultimate strategy, and more about making the best choices and planning around whatever pops up. The more you understand the game, the more informed decisions you can make. It's a very rewarding game, but unfortunately I do find it taking up all my free time. :)

This game is so much better than I expected it to be, but with that said, I don't think I would recommend it.
Fallout 76 is the logical end point if you take Fallout 4 and add multiplayer and a cash shop to it.

Many of the features Fallout 4 brought to the table naturally lend themselves to multiplayer, such as the crafting, legendary drops and construction, but to be honest I was never such a big fan of those mechanics, and the further additions Fallout 76 bring to the table, such as daily and weekly tasks, a seasonal pass and the cash shop just make the game feel exhausting.

The world here is more interesting than I was expecting it to be, and some of the quests I've done have been really cool. The voice acting's pretty good and the game looks pretty good, but it ultimately feels soulless, and for an RPG, even compared to Fallout 4, it lacks complexity.

Finally, I don't feel that multiplayer has added anything meaningful to the Fallout formula, and I think there would need to be a total rethink if there's ever going to be a Fallout 5. Despite everything, I think there's the core of a good game here, it's just a shame it's all in service of a, well, service.

This is a very fun pick up and play kind of shmup. I liked it on PSVita, and I'm liking it here too.

It's not overly difficult to complete a level, but the game challenges you to complete additional missions such as to destroy all enemies or don't get hit, to unlock more stages and difficulty modes. Points you earn can be spent on permanent upgrades to your ship, which you will need to complete the later stages and difficulty modes you unlocked.

I really like this style of progression. The game always feels like just the right level of challenge. Plus, there's tons of replay value in the form of cards you can find in levels.

If you're lucky, you might find a card pickup in a level, successfully complete the level while you have a card, and you'll add the card to your collection for a unique upgrade. I just recently found one which gave me a support drone. So cool.

I'm in two minds about this game.
The game sells itself as a farming life sim, but I don't think that is really the case. It's more like an action RPG with a linear story, with a little bit of a farming element; It kind of plays like an Atelier game. Fortunately, I kind of like those games.

The game is missing voice acting however; I think this is a big notch against the game, and the dialogue choices are meaningless. I don't think I can really recommend this game for £49.99, however I am having fun.

On to some tips:
The game suggests you need to go to sleep before midnight, but you don't have to. Instead, go inside at midnight, and craft as much as the game will let you. I was kicking myself when I discovered this on day 14.

I really like this game, it took a while to get used to parrying but once you figure it out the game starts to flow and you feel in control. It's a lot like Ninja Gaiden or Bayonetta, there's plenty of tools in your combo list and if you die you feel like it was your own fault. The game is reasonably hard, but rewards skilful play, and you WILL get better by playing. There's also plenty of lore and codec calls to listen to as well, it's very immersive.

The music is extremely good, and a good match for some of the ridiculously over the top stuff that goes on with the story. They somehow got everything in a nice balance of crazy, yet not so crazy that you can't take it seriously.

I regret not giving this game a chance when it came out.

I am really enjoying the game so far.

There aren't that many mainstream games with a paranormal detective kind of plot. I love the yokai, and the game evokes that distinct feeling you get from classic Japanese horror films like J-On, Ringu, Dark Water, etc. I'm pretty sure some of the collectables I've found in game are Japanese film references.

I love games which allow me to vicariously explore Tokyo. The world is detailed, there's tons of collectables to find, and while I do see the combat becoming repetitive, the game seems to have endless style. The game looks beautiful and runs fantastically well.

The card game itself is very fun, but it's the kind of game I would like to play IRL on the odd occasion. Not so much online or very often. The game would be nice as a teaser or for practice for the IRL card game, but with the cost of expansions adding up I don't think it really succeeds in this respect.

Early Access Review
I've been playing for about 25 hours on GOG.

I am a bit mixed on this game. It has the potential to be very good, but currently lacks complexity. I enjoyed it, but as it stands I can't recommend it for the price tag. (£20)

I am certain that updates to the game will absolutely improve the game, but the nature of early access is that I'm already burned out on it and I expect that I'm not really going to come back.
