how do you see how good your weapons are that you pick up please

i have questions, ihave never been able to find an answer to. . 1). encumbered: does encumbered put some sort of penalty to stealth or noise? like i'm encumbered so now i'm making more "noise" attracting monsters? i'll notice that everything is calm and then i'll pick something up, get encumbered and suddenly monsters just come running at me from every direction, off screen and sometimes on screen, like i take one step and suddenly a giant bat is in my face. if i manage to kill everything, i'll go down ...

Recently noticed that the STR stat is bugged. I resumed play on a couple of old games that I hadn't completed, and in both of them I found that when exceeding 18 strength, your carry capacity actually decreased. On both characters I suddenly went from being unencumbered to encumbered as soon as my base strength went above 18....

After a lot of research, it appears that the last two creatures on the trouble maker achievement are the ghost and pied piper. But so far I can't find anyone who has killed either of them without hacking the achievement file for the game. Obviously reading a blessed scroll of create monster has been tried and failed to summon either of these monsters. Can anyone tell me the other things they have tried? Even if it failed, I'm still looking for ideas that can be re-tested in the new steam version (1.3) or ...

i used to be able to throw a bottle of water at a dust cloud to kill it, but i just fired up the game again today, (ipad version) and i saw a dust cloud, had 2 bottles of water in my inventory and threw one at it and it says "you wet the dust vortex. the dust vortex is hardly affected by physical attacks" did Waz patch out the water weakness? was it really considered so OP to be able to kill one of this things with water, that it had to be nerfed?...
