Very nice game that I can highly recommend. I played it in 2024 and I am still finding it fresh and funny compared to 90% of all modern games. This is like a parody of all famous 80's action movies. Not a single one was spared with Blood Dragon. The story and scenario is so funny that you will smile for every line if you understand the point of it of course. Simply a must play just because of that.

I am also finding a gameplay dynamic and the fact that you can't die on the island from falls in combo with fast pace running across game world, really pulls you into the small but interesting world. There is not too much to complete here and in 8-10 hours game time you will find just right amount of material for playing. There is also a leveling system (on a basic progress) and weapon upgrades which also is interesting addition. After all this game is more of a DLC but probably extended into a standalone game because Ubisoft saw a potential for separate game.

Graphics is simply... different. It has so much lightning that sometimes can be distracting but it is a selling point of game play and setting. I find it nice but I honestly couldn't play long sessions in this game. Soundtrack is awesome. From main menu theme to game play music. You have to listen and enjoy it.

I have nothing negative to say about the game. More than 10 years after release, I am even more happy to play it now in 2024 when I miss good old FPS even more. This is Ubisoft I like. 9/10

If Ubisoft made more games like this, instead of AAAA-slop like Skull & Bones, they would be a company worthy of respect and a bit of... financial compansation hah, like that would ever happen lmfaooooo
