Congratulations on completing yourfirst lecture in Computer Science 101? Now look up "pars pro toto".
Steam doesn't work on actual GNU/Linux systems, I mean Arch (nomultilib), Gentoo (nomultilib/uclibc/musl).
Also Steam doesn't support Wayland protocol, xorg is deprecated, but Steam still use it.
Only .deb package available to download from this site, but what if I have rmp-based or source-based distro?
Why SteamOS still not migrated on Wayland?
OS
GNU/Linux
STEPS
1. Install Steam
2. Try to run it
RESULTS
It doesn't work.
EXPECTED
Full support on nomultilib systems with Wayland display server.
So, I suggest to make open source pure 64-bit client for Wayland display server protocol.
