HELP! Profile Comments gone?
Been searching the forum and can see I am not the only one who lost quite a couple of "old" profile comments on my steam profile.

Can we please get a confirmation from a Moderator or Support about this?
Seems like this has happened before and people got their comments back?
Is this the same case, a maintenance issue that will be resolved?

mods can only assume what happend like everyone else and support will most likely never show up here.

Not true. This happened before, and both a mod and support was pretty fast at answering to the issue.
Reason why I start a thread in here, is because me making a support ticket won't help the rest of the people with this issue.
If a mod or support respond in here, more people will have an answer without having to make a ticket.

me and a friend of mine got the same problem, we're missing old comments on our profile pages. normally i got around 30 comments on my page and now there are just 2 comments left ):! i need help too.

Same issue. Mainly the most recent comments remain.

I've made a ticket as well. I'll post updates here when they respond, unless a mod or someone updates us here first.

2,000+ of my own comments dating as far back as 2009; disappeared. I submitted a support ticket over two weeks ago for this issue; no response. What's Valve up to these days?

Yeah same. Made a ticket in the middle of May about this, still no response. Friends of mine with complete different issues report the same. Insane lack when it comes to support on the tickets.

Same thing has happened to me. I happened to look at my profile and all of my comments from friends are gone. They went all the way back to 2009. :( I know that one time Steam had it where my friends list was gone and then came back. So not sure if this is kind of the same thing. I know that Steam had some updates recently, not sure if maybe that's what caused it?

Same here. I had about 500 or so comments on my page going back to 2008 and now I only have 14.. O.o lol

I would assume VALVe is deleting old comments to make space on their servers.
