I wrote in the first post that its called ---->crimson relive <---- its the "one and only" software that you can get from amd to manage your video card, not only this, cuz u can do a lot of other things with it like videocapturing, set diffrent settings for each of your games and whatever else. E.G. Eyefinity - if that is a name you can work with - is as well included with the other stuff i already mentioned. I belive nvidia has something similar.
To get clear about that "programbundle": i didnt change anything there, just update to the latest version, heck im not even sure if thats the reason why SCFA is bugging around.
So, I suggest that you try Supreme Commander without Crimson ReLive running. You don't have to uninstall it. Just have a look through the Processes running in Task Manager, find one or two that look like they are named after Radeon Software Crimson ReLive, then End those Tasks (I did a quick Internet search and couldn't find the exact Process name for you). Hopefully Supreme Commander will then be able to launch as normal. Radeon Software Crimson ReLive will very likely start up again the next time your computer restarts (or you can launch the program manually by searching in the Start Menu for it, or searching through the files in Program Files).
If that does not work, then we can figure something else out.
Try reinstalling direct x 9. (it will only install anything missing, it will not overide the newer versions of files, as dx11 does not contain all the same files as dx9 etc)
It can also do this if for some reason the game is trying to set a werid resolution you could try to edit game.prefs default resolution in appdata which is a hidden folder
C\Users\"user name"\appdata\Local\GasPoweredGames\SupremeCommander
open game.prefs in notepad and scroll down and change default resolution to your native resolution mine is 1920,1080,60' and save.
Thx again for the help and your time
Glad you got it working :)
