The fact that this "VR" "game" doesn't have any support for motion controllers should have been all of the warning that I needed to stay away. Unfortunately a plethora of positive Steam Reviews convinced me otherwise.
The bad:
1) The "game" constantly wants to take control away from the player and this is especially annoying in VR.
2) The cut-scenes render in a tiny little box in your view which completely takes you out of the experience and ruins what little immersion and suspension of disbelief you were mustering before.
3) Pop-Up game "achievements" that make a little "blip, ding!" sound for progressing past basic checkpoints. These can't be turned off.
4) Game-breaking bugs that prevent progress. Googling these problems hasn't been fruitful and I gave up trying. Loading
checkpoints prior to the game-breaking bugs isn't available in VR.
This is obviously a half-arsed attempt with piss-poor mechanics to begin with.
4) The VR graphics don't actually look like the screenshots shown on the store page. It looks like muddy/ugly PS3 graphics.

TLDR: This isn't worth your time. Go watch a horror anime in VR if that's your cup of tea.

vr game in third person? for christ's sake.

Doesn't work with Meta Quest 3. Will play the regular version instead.
