Just wanted to say I really like the visual design (ie: pixels), the way the world map is layed out, and the way it's NOT A ROGUE-LIKE. At the end of the day, it just looks a little too hardcore for me, and unfortunately hardcore games mixed with pixel graphics are very hard to gain popularity. I think Super Meat Boy came at just the right time (and had the right push on Steam at that time), and should be seen as an exception rather than the norm. I just worry that devs will stop making games like this. ...
