Coop with friends ONLY
I wanted to know how to coop with friends against the bots like 2v5/3v5/4v5. but i ended up 5v5 with bots in my team.

Solution still needs!

One way to do it:
Make someone join your server, private lobby. Add bots in the console (bot_add_TEAM). If you put too many on one team it will balance it by putting bots in your team. You can teamkill them on start (May loose points though) or kick them by (kick NAME) in the console.

If not this, then just wait for something official, or download an admin plugin. Much easier.

Hope this helps!

That's what I always do when I'm playing 2 vs 5 with a friend.

1. Create a private match
2. Open the console
3. type in "bot_kick"
4. type in "mp_autoteambalance 0"
5. type in "mp_limitteams 0"
6. type in "bot_add_t" or "bot_add_ct"
7. repeat step 6 until you have the amount of enemies you want

^ it works perfectly but the "mp_limitteams 0" command seems doesnt work. maximum player per team is still 5

Maybe the server is set to 10 people only. Or maybe there are only 5 spawn points for each team on the map. I don't know how to change that, sorry. We always play against 5 enemies, so it wasn't really a problem for us. The commands used to work without any problems in CS:S.

Type "bot_quota" with the number of players you want in the console while in the game (not at the main menu). The number CAN be higher than 10 in all gamemodes, with the exception of arms race. Then follow the same steps outlined above. There is PROBABLY a parameter to make all the bots join one team, and I have an idea of what it might be, but I'd have to get back to you on that. Additionally, you can put in "bot_difficulty" with a number 0-3, with 3 being expert bots; it's set to 1 (normal) by default.

Alternatively, you can go to "Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Counter Strike Global Offensive/csgo/cfg" and use Notepad to edit the gamemode_casual (or competitive, demolition, and armsrace) configuration files. Here you can change things like the freeze time at the beginning of rounds, starting money, and all that stuff. It should be straightforward enough to figure out, but I can elaborate further if you need me to.

bot_join_team_any
bot_join_team_ct
bot_join_team_t

Those commands should work with "bot_quota".

Add me - we're looking to organize a couple teams for the OCN LAN Party in March that will take place in Toronto.
