Is the AK47 less user-friendly now?
Or maybe it's just me, I dunno. Shooting with it *seems* harder.

I think it's the sound changes. They threw me off a bit with the M4A4 and the AK. Probably some psychological thing around getting used to the gun, and I guess the sound is a bigger part of that than most realise.

Just your perspective. The new sounds make it feel like a new gun so it takes some time to get used to it.

They added a slight screen shake that is more noticeable then before just no one has noticed it yet.

Wait one. You think the AK is bad?

Well, that's something I never thought I'd see someone say in CS.

you can hear each bullet leave the gun as opposed to before when it was more or less an indiscernable roar so it feels different to some people

Yeah had the vibe of using the Galil. Its pretty similiar. The unique sounds of guns are compleet gone and are all alike now.

The sounds are at least, it sounds exactly like the cz

its all mental, you will get used to it over-time. The sound can throw the hand-coordination off a bit with the different pattern of sound.

From what I can tell, they are different enough that with time we will get used to them, but identifying them will be harder. Not a bad thing tho imo, cos it means that you'll need to get to know the sounds better to ID what guns the enemy team has without seeing them.

And think about economy and determine if they can afford certain guns.

That was already a thing for the most part, but it used to be easy to tell where they were economically, because of how distinct all the guns used to be. Now though, it'll be harder, which should make things more interesting.

Dunno how much it'll affect the lower ranks where I am though lol. I'd say it'll have more of an effect in pro games and higher ranks. As much as I may know about the game, I'm still trash lol.

it also brings a more mental game, cuz you can use fire rate, economy and sound to determine guns. like all 4 shotguns sound almost exactly the same now, except the fire rate. you get a feel for how potent these things actually are, i suppose.
