You might also want to check out the Bioshock series. The first two Bioshock games are the only ones I played, but they offer a compelling and engrossing setting which guarantees great immersion. Plotwise they're both strong, though the community leans in favor of #1 more - probably because it was the first game. They're more streamlined than DX, meaning that you move from stage to stage in an ordered manner, but allow you to make some decisions influencing the plot and gameplay, and also allow you to customize your character as you play bit like DX did - instead of augmentations, you will use plasmids which will give your character additional abilities. I'd recommend getting Bioshock 1 and seeing how you like it - it's not going to be expensive on a sale.
And in some regard the Metal Gear series, mostly the PSX/PS2 era. Although get ready for a plot so convuluted that it makes Deus Ex look like a kindergarten children book.
Also, System Shock 2. While not exactly the same, comes very close. It's a great game, and if i dare to say even better than Deus Ex.
One of the weirdest games I've ever played. One of the only times I can think of where bad localization may have actually helped the product.
Haven't played this either, but considering that Deus Ex is the second related gane listed on Google when searched the game I think that says something.
Post-punk is still cyberpunk - albeit from a different vantage point.
System Shock 2 hasn´t aged well? With a texture overhaul mod, the game feels very polished and smooth, with much better and modern interface, mainstream-compatible gameplay (compared to DE) and a nice game flow. I´d say it has aged much better than Deus Ex (oh, those terrible hitboxes etc.)
