Can't leave diplomacy screen (no reaction by button)

EDIT: BUG FIXED WITH LATEST HOTFIX (AUTO DOWNLOAD VIA STEAM). The only drop of bitterness: Not compatible with saved games. You have to start a new game to apply this fix to your game.

Hello together,

I'm struggeling with an issue wich didn't allow me to leave the diplo screen (see attached screenshot: http://steamcommunity.com/id/fanatiker87/screenshot/648876514426750395 ). Don't know how to fix it. Tried to reinstall dx and vred, check for updates and checked game stats for issue (via steam).

It is not possible to leave this screen by accepting one of the diplomatic offers (it's possible to click, but nothing happens). The game didn't crash (checked via task-manager) and it is possible to leave the game via ALT+F4.

This bug makes the game impossible to play is there a known fix for that?

EDIT 01.11. : Send 2k games an official bug report including screenshot and savegame. We'll see what will happen.

Found a solution. Before it will show up again just tell the other nation to stop settle near your territory.

I m having the issue even at the onset of the game with any diplomatic message or 200 turns into a game. I run a few original Civ mods, haven't bought the latest cluster release.

Same here. Happens in old and new games. Had no problems until latest update. Tried reinstalling, turning down my graphics settings, and clearing my game cache.........nothing. Anyone with the Rising Tide dlc having this problem? If it's just the vanilla game then Firaxis has some explaining to do

Got hit with this on two games in the past couple of days. First time was on a Marathon game as Koslov, caught a PAC spy and when they came for forgiveness clicking the dialogue options did nothing. So I reloaded to a earlier save when I caught the spy again and was given the dialogue options nothing happend.

So I started a new game today with the faction that gives the culture boarder bonuses. A diplomatic option came up with Hatuma I click no to his request and it seemed like it would progress back to the game (dialogue options dissapeared) but it locked up. I'm playing vannila with no mods.

I have it too. I don't really know what to do. Apparently it existed a while ago, but was eventually removed in a patch. I have had to start over because of frustration, i dont know what to do now that its ruined two 200 turn games.

Same story here.... pretty much any incoming diplomatic message is a game ending affair. I can reply but...nothing happens. In a very few cases I can hit escape but 90 percent of the time it's no help.

This is particularly aggrevation as it's both so widespread and it's a game function that used to work flawlessly.

Anyone with RT and this Bug? As far as we figured in other threads, only non-RT is afflicted.
