Resolution/Refresh rate
This thread is to collate all issues with missing resolutions at high refresh rates. Please do not post any more threads with that problem - add them here. Other threads are being merged here. Having many threads about it does not make it any more visible to 2K or Firaxis. They are aware of the problem now, and it's conceivable that information about the configurations that have problems and how they were resolved will help them, so feel free to keep sharing them, but extra threads don't help anyone.

DO NOT download supposed fixes from untrusted websites

2K support are aware of the problem with high refresh rates (http://support.2k.com/hc/en-us/articles/203809446-Problem-Running-Civilization-Beyond-Earth-in-Full-Screen) - ignore them specifying the 144Hz, we and they know it's on 120Hz as well, I just don't imagine updating small details like that is a higher priority than getting an actual fix sorted out.

There also seems to be a problem with some users on HDMI cables refusing to run at 1080p; either they are forced to run a lower resolution, or a lower refresh rate (eg 24Hz). It's not clear if 2K are aware of this issue, or indeed whether it's caused by the same or a different underlying issue.

At various points in this thread there are steps to take to edit your registry as a workaround. This is not a workaround I expect that 2K/Firaxis would endorse, as registry editing is a minefield, and it should not be necessary. However, for the sake of keeping everyone informed, I mention it here.

A possible fix is also found in another thread (http://steamcommunity.com/app/65980/discussions/0/624075374595317964/) which is being left open so people can discuss that fix, and how well it's working, and nothing else.

Missing fullscreen resolutions
I can't run at 2560x1440 144hz on my RoG Swift, 980 SLI.

Largest fullscreen resolution that appears is 1280x1024.

Windowed is fine.

Patch please?

Yeah mine is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ to and I can't get above 1280x1024.

Same monitor here, even using Geforce Experience, and having it set to 2560x1440p, still defualts to 1280x1024 max.
How does a simple bug like this go live?,Beta testers running budget rigs?

Did you download the latest driver from nvidia that came out yesterday? v344.48. Supposedly it has support for this game.

Same problem. Tried setting the config directly (My Documents/My Games/Sid Meier's Civilization Beyond Earth/GraphicSettings.ini), no dice, ignores it. Using latest Nvidia Drivers (344.48), SLI, 144hz display seems the common denominator.

It has nothing to do with the new driver, Running it anyway for DSR on 780ti's, Game is broken.

No SLI 670 1980x1020 with 344.48 and 120hz

Works on my 2nd monitor, 2560x1600 60hz. It seems the game just doesn't support 120/144hz monitors.

Also, where is the benchmark feature?!

This game needs patching as usual.

I have similar gear to TotalBiscut, and his video appears to be at a fairly decent res :/

Beta testers confirmed :D

I guess try going into nvidia panel->Change resolution, then set refresh rate to 60Hz, and see if it allows you to play at a decent resolution.
