Chell's parents and the 3 Portal gun

I was thinking, having just completed this again recently...I think Chel's parents are Cave Johnson & Caroline.....He's rich, and and made a successfull go of Apeture to a degree, and both he and Caroline are smart, Why else would Chell have been singled out for preservation so long amongst hundreds if not thousands of test subjects? Also, Wheatley makes reference to a 3 portal gun if you do a certain thing in the game, I have to wonder if that will make an appearence in Portal 3...

Thats what I was wondering, but considering how whacky yet good, both games were I say it would work in ways we wouldn't anticipate.

Actually, wheatly does talk about the 3 portal gun device at the beginning of chapter 9, so just like rxg said, fall into the deadly pit to look for it lol.
