sanbox mode similiar to transport fever with multiple types of transportation options, ie trucks, ships, planes, etc.

Thank you both for your comments! The development will take 1 or 2 years at minimum while keeping the game updated and adding more content regularly. It also means big plans with other transport types (first would be road vehicles, second planes, ...). But first I need to balance the game with trains and make sure everything works perfectly.

working switching yards would be a really unique feature...not to manage only the trains but engines and cars to build them.

User modding is in my todo list quite high on top, but switching yards is something I would love to have, and have already solution for partial problems, but overall, I have to keep this idea for the future, since I am not able to implement it in reasonable amount of time :/ and it is gona be even more busy time soon :)

translation to Spanish? We are many Latin and Spanish who play this type of games and if it is in our language much better.

The trains can be painted with colors as in transport fever?

I would like to make sure you have the scale of the game world in mind when evaluating ideas and developing the game.
I like Transport fever, but i find the scale of the game world complicated when there is transport features for trains, plains, trucks and then buses within the a city in the same game.
I much more like the old game Transport tycoon that did not have bus transport within the city. I would very much like the game have cities be "simple" like in the Railroad Tycoon games and Transport Tycoon.

Grek, thanks for the comments and help! Regarding to multiplayer, I've decided to release the game into early access WITHOUT multiplayer (it needs to be reimplemented to have more possibilities and I do not have enough time to test it and bugfix everything:/ ). Regarding to localizations, The transaltion is partly done, but due to recent changes, I need to do another iteration of most of languages and this includes Spanish. It will be added soon after EA release and also anyone can do a simple mod (one XML file) with any language needed.

This game looks pretty promising, I'm looking forward to playing it.
1. Are there going to be wear and maintenance mechanics? (see: Cities in Motion)
If it is planned,
1b. Will there be things such as breakages?
1c. Will it be graphically represented in textures such as dirt or rust?
2. Are track segments configurable as one-way or two-way?
3. Will the livery be user-configurable? Even if it is just picking a colour or set of colours.
4. Will there be customisable text in rolling stock and stations? That being things such as station name, player's name on the side of rolling stock, etc.
5. Will the trains be player-driveable or is the player only a spectator after setting the train's route?
6. Are there times of day and timetables?
7. VR? (wishful thinking. I don't even have a VR headset and most likely won't, but surely some do and would like it. I sure would love to play a game like this in VR if I had VR gear!)
