already download dota 2 but cant play

same here....tells me i have dota 2 but ingame its only the spectator client.
i downloaded 4,3gb for spectating......nice trolling.

there should be an info in steam that its only the spectator mode.

true... but my friend download it from here and was able to play it....

You need a key to play. Either get a key or pay £22 or equivalent on Steam. This is the spectator client. "DotA 2 Test" is the actual game.

Actually...Dota 2 Test is not the actual game...it´s a test version..but if it appears in your library you got the full Dota 2.

*Facepalm* If you check on dota 2 blog, valve announced spectator dota client for international 2. You can watch games but can't play. It's because dota 2 is not officially out yet, and you need invitation key to play the beta.

In the meantime, you can buy a key for $30 USD or take the survey and wait for an invite. We really ought to have a sticky about that, there are at least one or two "why can't I play" threads daily.

I've take the Dota 2 survey months ago and now i have this Dota 2 test in my library.
Q: this Dota 2 Test is the full game?

You don´t need to download Dota 2 Test...but if it is in your library, Dota 2 itself should be the full game and you should be able to play it.
