Muting system.

Haven't played properly in over a year, go on today for the first time to play with a mate. Play 2 games, muted on my third one. Seriously? I don't do ♥♥♥♥. Apparently you can get muted for press Y > we need wards. Y> Gank top Y> Missing top.

Seriously? I am tired of these beta white knight kunts on video games who cry constant.

When you are muted you are still able to use chat wheel. If thats the only thing you were using to communicate, then there is no problem for you.

I am fully aware of its function but as an old dota player i am used to typing "ss 2 " "ss1 " etc. Now i have to press Y and scroll (which isnt a big issue) but what is an issue is that it prevents me from actualling typing anything important. For instance what i am planing on getting or informing a member of my team to get dust etc... people will report you for doing good... seriously. This game... this "tribunal" system is so stupid.

Totally agree man. Even if you're right and screaming at ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that do the same crap over and over again, you're still penalized for it, because they dont know how to responsibly use the report system. It kills me

During the Manifold evento i've got muted because i picked p.a in a game where i was the single random guy playing with 4 other scrubs. They were mad that i fast-picked her and reported me resulting in 168 hour ban. (I did not even respond to them because i was focused on the contract, the one i made, i carried all of them and after the match we got a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ set and still: BAN - muted - they had reported me for sure because it was the first game of the day).

So while muted the only way to play mid is actually using the gear-wheel, if you random (there's the random option, it's good as a first pick on the team - sometimes people are afraid to pick supports - randoming avoid this because you often pick more supportive heroes other than carries. And TADA the f* day i randomed at a morphling, marked mid forsure (im excelent at morph/miud against basically every hero) and used the gear wheel ("We Need Wards!") / "Help" / "Push the barracks then get back") .
Resulting in 4 instareports, and TADA : Low Priority Queue.

My point of view: The mute system RUINS the game, even if you pay ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of real money on it improving your heroes/hud/etcetera because you actually LIKE THE GAME! But this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ system needs to be improved, it cant stay the way it is.

Yeah, go lick someone else boots if you still think im just 14 year boy who scream at everyone else.

I'm 23 , 9th half of Law School, i'm not a stupid and i feel somehow that valve is "hurting" it final customer.
