Also you said he was muted, maybe that's the reason he decided to do this?
Thanks! at first I was confused then it started to worry me.
lmao the most he may get is a phone call, but most coppa's wont even care.
Yes, he is. He is saying like his father and mafia have like connection. I really don't care at first I tried to apologized about the game but he keep at raging and giving me threats.
First of all I didn't screen cap it but maybe I can add him just to look again the message and screen cap it. Second, sad but I live in the east. :(

That is not true, a young man made a statement on the net about shooting people in a school (he was joking). Someone thought otherwise and reported him...he went to jail. You are responsible for everything you say, even on the net. This is the max punishment for "death threats" Statutory Limitations & Maximum Penalty: 10 years imprisonment.
Should be careful with those threats, you never know how it will be received.
"His father" = Implies he is a little kid. No grown-up with money and power would say "my father will get to you". He is a kid and he talks like it.
"Mafia connections". Do you think a real mafia mobster will do something to someone because his kiddie played a videogame match with him?
"IP": He would need to hack Valve's servers first in order to obtain your IP. Even if he's got it, he would need to hack your ISP's servers to get your billing address and the date and time the IP go assigned to you and used in the chat.
Next time ask him "really? what's my IP?" and have a good laugh. If it bothers you so much call the police. Also report him with Valve.
But all that is highly unlikely.
