Graphics card for Reborn

Hi to Steam and Dota 2 community,

I have this messenge when i try to open Dota 2 Reborn:

''Your graphics card falls below our official minimum specs, which have not been changed in the transition to Dota 2 Reborn.When running under the Source 1 engine, that did not prevent the game from working because the engine was not designed around the full capabilities of the minimum spec for graphic cards. However, Dota 2 Reborn relies on graphics features such as vertex textures and shader model 3.0 and so adherence to the minimum spec is a stronger requirement that it was in Source 1 Dota 2. Unfortunately this means that Dota 2 Reborn will not be able to run on some graphics cards from 2006 or before."

I have ATI Radeon X1950 GT i know is old but i had played 2300 games with 0% abandon and rarely disconected from games in dota 2. I had write 3 or 4 times in game that i had lag and need a small pause (in summer when my pc really hot and when my other pc download other files).

Now, I can understand that you dont care if we have money for a new graphics card. In Greece we really have some economical problems and capital control make our life strange. But ok I ll stop play Dota until something change. I think that someone from the support team its good to inform the players with the some problem with me, how much money we have to spend for the new card for the reborn much beter desigh.

This was an statement from a valve dev at the dev forum, when the question was asked: Unfortunately the X1950 is below minimum specs also. Edit: If you want a new gpu for Reborn, but nothing fancy, you can get one for almost nothing. You can buy a very old card and still play Reborn :)

Thank you Happy Cat for the answer, i ll try to find one old card from my friends if not maybe i ll buy a cheap card in the next days, i read no good things for rebors so i considering.
You are really funny Beaver you recommend to me that card which cost the half money of the 5 month voucher program i work now.

That video card will most likely not meet the specs, as it is still a 256 MB card.

Do what The Fallen said, you can buy a 1GB graphics card for less than $50 US on newegg.com if you look hard enough. Just pay attention to reviews and make sure it matches your PC's specs.
