What to do to raise MMR?

I want to at least get out of 1k but its not happening for me. I know I am not good at the game but I want to improve.

Tbh if you're lower then 1k then u can be an allstar player with frickin 20k hours and u still wont raise up juts because of the noob-teammates you get. Most of them simply juts want to lose. Ikd why, maybe they just wan to make lives miserable, maybe they want to stay with ppl their level, but if they take a single mistake, a single joke as an insult then the whole game is simply lost, no matter what you try or do.

Pick a strong hard carry. If you are good with it, you will win easily, even doing mistakes. Because players are generally bad.

A high mmr player in a 1k match would have a dozen kills by 10 min into the game with the game over before 30 min as the enemy is as useless as he's teammates.

pick 1 hero and more importantly 1 role, pub games till your comfortable with it, play it in ranked below 1k you can get wins even with 'a team of noobs' as someone has said
just practice a strong carry thats not complex(sven not invoker type thing) and use youtube! you will get a lot from it at your level, good look buddy, you'll get there

Or ask someone higher than you to coach you for a match, you should be able to get better just from a few games with a coach. im only 3.5k but i gaurantee you if i played in a game at your level i could go any role and win the laning phase easily. PM if you want to

I know the feeling. The things you described happens most of the time in ranked matches but some lucky days I do get players who actually wants to win.
