A perfect example would be the Tank in Coop.
L4D1 - Once a survivor is down, the Tank keeps attacking him (basically garantueed to kill him on Expert, good chances to do so on Advanced). If you set the Tank on fire, it doesn't take any damage from the fire but has an internal countdown of about 90 seconds going down AND it runs faster (higher difficulty = runs faster)
L4D2 - Once a survivor is down, the Tank runs away from him (basically garantueed its survival on Advanced and nearly every time on Expert), it takes actual damage when on fire and runs slower when on fire.
Honestly, I personally don't see a point in buying L4D2...
Same here. It just has a better feel to it.
I don't understand though... all the L4D1 campaigns have already been imported to L4D2 have they not?
Those 2 points are just proof how much l4d2 is better but at the same time how lame that valve supports it so much.
The tank incaping a survivor and moving on is a AI fix, which i think is a good thing. The tank becomes more challenging, also he will attack anyone who tries to pick up the incap survivor thus it makes a complete change in strategy. The same applies to the SI, they attack together now, rather than a single target, in l4d1, they all attack the same target until incapped or dead.
And no, he won't care if someone tries to pick up the downed survivor.
And the SI-AI hasn't changed much. The only difference is that Hunter and Smoker got nerfed due map-layout and Boomer got nerfed and won't call a Horde every time.
