One doesn't not simply play Versus easily.
Versus I can say is a very fun and competitive part of L4D. However, the people who are allied or opposed can be typical. For people who haven't tried versus that much, be cautious who you might be playing with. They are entirely different in campaign and survival mode. Rather they can affect your emotions or how you play. The competitive act of versus changes the minds of people; to act more dominant, angry within power, or have the act of stupidity. For example, I recently played versus not too long ago and I decided to stop playing versus for a while. The reason why was the admin became too much in power with the act of arrogance and became very disrespectful to other players!! (If you see the name "Adam's Regrown Rib" in a versus game, I recommend you would leave now before anything happens. He's a very corrupt admin thats in this wonderful game). I do talk a bit bias but my point is to be cautious what players you encounter. Although the whole concept of versus is to stay as a team, your team or even the other team can collapse within those aspect of people. In other words, versus is very fun and recommandable; however, the community of versus can be very hazardous upon you. Have emotions tough enough first and have fun!

Almost every competitive gamer is an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. It's not just an act they put up with when they play versus, it's how they are. I've seen a couple of the versus players join a normal campaign. They can't let go of their dominating behavior, and thinks every single zombie is a player enemy. They plan ridiculous and useless strategies too. The worst ones are those with mics, who always uses it to pick on people who makes smaller mistakes. And if they make a mistake themselves, they blame the whole team and ragequit. I've been lucky to meet nice people in versus though, but it's rare, so I don't play versus anymore.

I completely agree. I've noticed a majority of people with mics belittle others for like you said, "small mistakes". That's why I don't bother talking on the mic. They can talk to a brick wall for all I care.
Just yesterday, not even in a vs. game, a guy joined my game in the sacrifice, and he was spraying with an M16 trying to kill a smoker on a rooftop. When I said that he sould burst fire to kill it faster, he got all defensive and was like, "Shut the **** up, I'm a ton better in this game than you.". I think he thought that my friendly advice was me challenging his skill.
"Adam's Regrown Rib" is a n00b that bought his own server because he couldn't cut it on regular servers.
The name of his server is "no n00bs" yet he is the biggest one of them all.
