Preparing to launch Borderlands 2...

I'm stuck here, anyone else stuck there? I'm not sure what would cause steam to stick at this point, but it just sits and eventually i have to close steam and start it back up, yet never does it get past this...GRRR any tips?

Try doing a verify of game cache from the properties setting. This had helped me solve issues with games in the past.

That did it! It found one bad file and fixed it now I'm running, thanks man!

I'm having the same issue. How exactly do I verify game cache? I know little about computers.

Right click on the game in your library list, and click properties. Then in one of the tabs it has verify game cache, click that, it'll take a bit, but it should fix the issue.

hey robert i got my game to work what you should try is do the verifying thing then close steam all the way and reopen it and run the game. i dont know why this worked but it worked for me

had same thing happen to BL2 and Saints Row 3 and 4 occasionaly
restarting steam helped

why don't you change Crimson in your name to Dumb ?
