Can't install Borderlands 2; Error 53/55

I've already donwloaded it. When I press play it brings up a game installation window. That goes to 100% then a message appears saying "The Steam servers are too busy to handle your request for Borderlands 2. Error Code (55 or 53 can't remember).

Is there a actual problem here on my end, or do I wait for Steam to sort their servers?

If you have McAfee, turn off Real-Time Scanning. Let the update install. Enter the game. Exit the game. Turn McAfee Real-Time Scanning back on. Done deal. Jump back and kiss yourself.

I use AVG free how does that work then, cuz i dont see any realtime scanning that i can turn off
