So I'm interested in what the best sniper rifles in the game have to offer. Post your screenshots of your best sniper rifles please. >:D

Idont know the best,but since i got the first Sniper Rifle(today :P Trough Handsome Jack's hair mission) i can't stop using it,i love picking off enemyes at a distance and they ussually get killed before they can see me :D IIm guessing the best one would be a sniper rifle with DoT efefct if it exists?

The Volcano is a pretty awesome sniper rifle. It's a fire gun and does massive burn damage. I got the first one form beating the Warrior in the 1st play through, The Valdov Lyuda are great too. They come in all elements and plain. That one drops pretty frequently form quest out in the dust. You go looking for some of Mordecai's old guns burried in a cemetary. and end up in a "truxican standoff" one of the bad guys drops it, can't remember his name. The quest is The Good, The Bad, The Mordecai.

I got one of these but it only does around 22k worth of damage. Only just hit 50 so havent tried farming for decent drops.

We dont really need legendaries or fancy rifles, nothing beats a good jakobs for SR, i used a 30k blue from marcus for a long time and only replaced it for the cobra, also Jakobs...

I notice a couple high damage ones with no ele damage. Isn't ele damage pretty important? Any 30k+ damage +ele damage SRs?

For a SR nothing is more important than high dmg and crit dmg...
Elemental is good for loaders and armored stuff...

That's because weapons lose damage when they have elemental effects. For level 50 sniper rifles, an elemental effect can cause as much loss as 12,000 direct damage.

The Legendary Chikamin Skullmasher. I have 3 different Skullmashers. Found 2 at random locations, and 1 killing Son of Mothrakk. Stats alone shows the power. Only consumes 1 bullet but fires 5 at the same location. GREAT for getting criticals in the arenas because you just have to shoot near the critical point since it fires 5 shots simultaniously.

It is the highest dmg SR, but what's the point if you cant hit anything from a long distance?
I wouldnt trade it for any 30k jakobs...
Not even the 180%crit one which doesnt seem to make a huge diference at all...
And why would a gun have a -66%dmg anyway?

If you havent tried it before then your opinion is just bias and kinda ignorant. People think that the CC has weak stats but it's orange for a reason. Why else would it be everyone's pick for raid bosses. Well, I switch between the Skullmasher and a Barking Volcano. And the Skullmasher seems to hit things fine from across arenas where they appear extremely small.
