Borderlands 2

Psycho Build
Im considering buying the psycho character, but since I don't want to lose my some what small amount of progress (level 25) I will be using gibbed to change characters. So my question is whats a good psycho build for level 25. ( Before you say use the borderlands 2 skill treee builder because of how unique krieg is I don't really understand what's good and whats not) Thank you in advance.

Um... why would you use Gibbed? You don't lose your old character(s) if you make a new one o_o

The general idea, that I have read, is to take the Mania tree, and avoid Hellborn until you are at a moderately high level(like 25+), but I have heard surprisingly little about Bloodlust tree.

Mania and Hellborn both take strength from you being in situations that are normally bad, like being on fire, shields being down, clip being empty, and because of that, you might want to play around a bit with any build that people suggest, rather then taking them and assuming that the build is good itself with little understanding of why.

I decided to take a look at the Mania skill tree, see at what level I could be content with it and move onto Hellborn, if such a thing could happen. http://www.bl2skills.com/psycho.html#00000000000050555515155100000000000 was the result. Yeah, not even kidding >_<

To make a Krieg I could be content with that is Level 30~ gives http://www.bl2skills.com/psycho.html#00000000000050550500005100000000000 this beast.

While it is true that you don't lose your save data, gearbox did not add any way to change character, and continue from the point that you are at in the game/levels. Gibbed alows you to do just that XD

I did search it up on youtube but I could find nothing for a medium level character.

LOL level 48. About your level 31 setup I think I might use it with a couple of minor changes. For example I wouldn't put as much in thrill of the kill, because most of my weps are ovetime damage/fast fire rate. I would also advance down hellborn before you did, and would get redeem the soul, because 1. I play coop a lot so this would be quite useful and 2. The person who I play coop with the majority of the time is quite powerful, but gets down a lot. This would be useful to keep him in while I then trigger light the fuse and kil something small so we can both get back in the game quite quickly

Thank you all for your help (shinku I did take your advice seriously and didn't just think about the gibbed thing but I deleted the rest before actually thinking about the rest of what ou said and im too lazy to reqoute it all XD)

So, you would use Gibbed to make the Krieg be Level 25, and advance him to the point of the story your current character is at? Uh... okay then.

Yeah, that Krieg Level 31 was as low level as it could get and still get Release the Beast. I too would take Redeem the Soul, even in Solo play, if only because it greatly extends FFYL time ^_^

For Thrill of the Kill, due to all the boosts Mania Krieg can get in Melee, the Overkill 'weapon' of choice would likely be a good Melee strike, preferably to the targets Critical location for that 2x damage. At very least, with 1 point, it gives Krieg some form of self healing without going critical for Release the Beast.

The best part of this game is levelling characters so I'm not sure why anyone would want to rob themselves of the experience but whatever. Kreig is one of those very much playstyle specific characters. There's two completely different ways to play him, and both are very powerful if played properly. While levelling you will probably want to focus on either the Hellborn tree if you're not as into melee, or the Mania tree if you like to get up close and personal. And really different parts of the game are so much easier with one over the other, alot of times you might even find yourself playing both, respeccing for whatever arises.
^this
it really depends on your playstyle and even then you might use different builds for different areas and/or bosses.
I own the krieg dlc myself, and i suggest going to the mania skill tree free,IMO it is very crucial for your survivability <--(i don't know how to spell this word). and don't feel sad if your psycho keeps on dying, that is normal because he is MADE to be on FFYL/LTF. yes he is one of the most difficult character to begin with but trust me once you got his level capped he will be one of the most OP character you ever had.
hank you all for your help from everything you said I have managed to come up with something I think I like.. In case anyone wants to see it http://www.bl2skills.com/psycho.html#00000000000050505310100000000000000
