The. Game. Came. Out. In. 2012.
The game isn't new anymore so the spoiler window is closed, if someone doesn't want spoilers for a game that's been out since 2012 that's on their own head. Why should we have to self-mute for the few stragglers just coming to the game?
Everyone has a differing opinion on what is and isn't funny or amusing. If you want Jack to shut up, just know this: Since you are working with the Crimson Raiders, his enemies, naturally, you will fight him.
Let your dislike for him and his yammering build, it'll make smacking his plastic surgery'd ass down SO much more enjoyable.
Personally, I got a few laughs from him, but not everything he said amused me. I *did* love every moment he seemed honestly frustrated though :D
Not really. Have you played every game and watched every movie that came out in 2012 and before? Didn't think so. It's not 'To Kill a Mockingbird' or 'Macbeth'. You shouldn't be spoiling key game stories and put spoiler alert accordingly.
As for the topic, I didn't really find him funny but rather a well-made villian that makes you want to kill him badly.
No, i haven't, but that doesn't give me or anyone any kind of right to demand that people tiptoe and ♥♥♥♥♥ foot around me so as not to spoil it for me. The world doesn't revolve around you...or me, or anyone. For a game that has been out since 2012, someone who hasn't played the game should have enough common sense to think that "maybe going to the forum where people will be talking about the game is probably a bad idea and will spoil things for me."
If it was a brand new game, then yes i could understand asking for a spoiler tag because it's new and many groups of people are getting into it, but at the same time i'd still use enough common sense to, if i don't want something spoiled, not hang around an area where people are talking about it.
Look, many people are new to the game, or even Borderlands series because of Handsome Collection release. Have you not see that he's only level 11 and new to the game? It is you who seems to think the world should revolve around you. No, not everyone knows the ending of a 2012 game out of thousands of games out there. It is you who thinks that people should expect spoilers from the forum. There's a reason why people put (spoiler alert) on their threads.
Now this forum doesn't have a strict spoiler rule but many other RPG game forums, new or old, have it or have a seperate forum for spoiler free forum. It's your freedom to spoil everything but that doesn't stop from making you a disrespectful person.

I for one, have beaten both, Borderlands 1 and 2. My statement was for others. Others who may be mid game and joined this discussion on the topic of handsome jack's comedic nature.
You may have and probably did spoil a critical mid game story element.
Some people don't like spoilers. which is why I mentioned it.
and to the games release date. I refer you to Gom's comment. Do you honestly think that everyone follows you, and plays game as you do? so that whatever you say, you can't spoil the story for others?
Everyone moves at their own pace, everyone plays games at their own pace. some people may not have been able to afford Borderlands 2 in 2012. And they now just got it. Your arrogance is truley outstanding "The world doesn't revolve around you...or me, or anyone" I'm sure getting the impression you think it revolves around you.
Take a chill-pill got dammmit!
I find it very amusing when he was supposed to "play the violine all sarchasticly and everything" :D Hehe! The best parts is when he goes a little cry baby over stuff. He really is a messed up man in a young boys world of thoughts.
And tbh the devs did a good job on that,as killing him made the game that more sweeter.
