Using a game controller with BL2 on pc

Ive never had a console game, I've always played pc games. (Thats right, Ive never owned a PS or Xbox or any console game - strictly PC all the way!)

Recently, however, I injured my shoulder so its very hard to play using keyboard and mouse as per usual. So I've been thinking of buying a controller for my pc.

I'm dreading it though because I've zero experience using a controller and it will probably take me almost forever to get the hang of it. Anyway, I was wondering if there are people playing BL2 with pc and controller. If so, how does it compares with kb+m? Also, what button bindings do you use? Which controller should I get? Any tips and advice would be welcome.

Which controller is down to your preference. And about aiming, it could be harder than keyboard+mouse since you can't fine aim and blow heads.

Been playing BL2 with the Steam Controller, using some community-supplied bindings. Gyro-aiming works reasonably well if you're not needing to headshot multiple erratically moving nemies as quickly as possible.

The controller is adequate if you really have to play. Just do not let yourself get frustrated as You will have a new learning curve to overcome.

i use a controller for all my fps titles on pc tbh...i use the default button configuration if ur wondering...ive always never liked kb and m for i feel like its a bit too loose for my liking..u shud probably be able to adjust after some playing. its not as hard as it looks. best of luck if u do end up getting one. I wud recommend a xbox 360 wired usb one for easy setup and play.
