BTW, when doing core angel quest, did you find any loot midgets? Maybe you could farm thousand cuts or core angel for them. But then again, since this is just your first playthrough maybe do that at a higher level.
Yeah i know the bunker aint great but my point still stands, i did get a ♥♥♥♥♥ at lvl 10 from a loot mig but now when ever i kill one ALL i get is ammo and a bit of cash never guns, i killed a lvl 26 super badass constructor whe i was lvl 20 and got 1 blue gun and one zero class mod and that was it, just seems that everything is screwing me over on loot.
If the files check out, then maybe you're just having a run of bad luck. FWIW, as far as BNK3R goes, I've also seen people say that they had some items fall through the ground to the level below (I'm guessing that's a PhysX issue). If you don't see many drops up top, you might want to look below, just in case.
Also, just in case you don't know ...
Gearbox increased the general legendary drop rate some months back, including most designated boss drops. It's 3 times the old rate. But the change is still a hot fix, meaning that the game has to be able to go online and d/l it every time you start the game. So if the game is able to get the hot fix, you should actually start seeing more random legendaries and designated boss drops.
Just to be clear, whether you have the hot fix or not should not have any effect on the quantity of drops. Either way, you should be finding about the same amount of stuff as always.
The normal drop rate seemed to pick up when i verifyed the game cache, but leg drops are still poor, i need leg infinity gun but no matter what accout and with the 5% bonus i still cant get one.
BTW, if it's any consolation, the drop rates get better on the 2nd and 3rd playthrough. Also, there's the relic for 5% drop chance, although I doubt it actually does anything.
If "5% bonus" is referring to the Vault Hunter Relic, forget it. The consensus is that the VHR has either literally or virtually no effect on the chances of getting a legendary. Supposedly the 5% means that 5 out of every 100 white drops are removed and replaced with some other random item, which might be green, or just maybe blue. Getting anything better out of it is extremely unlikely. Aside from that, it presumably only affects random drops and not designated drops, like getting an Infinity from Mercy.
Use any other relic that makes things easier, helps you survive, etc.
Today I was farming for the JEEEENKIIIINS challenge in NVHM and the LLMs dropped 2 legendaries - a bonus package and Sledge's shotgun. I immediately thought of you.

the VHR does exactly what it says. It does effectively increase all drop rates beside white drops by 5% (on the cost of fewer white drops). Meaning, with the VHR you'll get an average of 1 Legendary more per 20 Legendaries, for example.
..
still, the VHR is complete ♥♥♥♥. Those 5% are a joke. If you farm for something, better use a relic that increases your dps and therefore your farming speed. It will help much more with legendary drops.
Honestly, I was more or less repeating what I've read, over and over and over, in the Gearbox forums (like I said, the consensus). IAC, you're talking about the possibility of 1 more random legendary for every 20, when each one of those was a 1 in 10000 chance to begin with, so it wasn't exactly going to be raining legendaries. :-) With the drop rate increase, the effect from the VHR is presumably 3 times greater, but 3 times a very small number is still a very small number. :-)
But anyway, the one reason why it really is a useless item is that there are plenty of other relics out there with make your farming far more than 5% faster, ergo helping you more than a VHR.
