7 maggies from mick zaford?!

My friend started a new playthrough with a siren.he did the quest clan wars and started farming mick for the maggie and he got like 7 of them. I thought you can get only one legendary weapon from a specific enemy per playthrough or was i wrong?. Can someone explain me the that? Can you get multiple legendary drops from enemies like doc mercy,scorch,boll etc.?

Yes, farm away. All legendaries (orange) can spawn numerous times, some enemies having a higher chance to drop it than others. Blue item quest rewards are only given once though.
