Show All Damage (Option)
For the love of all that is holy. Give us a 'show all damage' option. If you can show the damage for crits, then you can show us the damage for our attacks, and our pet attacks in the same way. I shouldn't be forced to use third party software to enable it. What's shown in the dps bar is meaningless. That is before defenses. I want to see the real damage I am doing when I am doing it to a target. It was suggested numerous times in the previous pinned thread about suggested improvements. Make it happen. Please, please make it happen.

Third Party Software in question: Soul Seekers TQ Defiler.

Wait how did you get TQDefiler to work with AE? If it works for show damage that's amazing! I need that so much to see my pet damage.

I still play on the TQIT Version with the Fanpatch. I couldn't get the Defiler to work on the Anniversary Edition. I was forced to revert to old school. Apologies, I should've made that clear above.

I want to play the Anniversary Edition quite a bit, but not being able to see my damage, or my pets damage is unacceptable for me.

The show all damage from the defiler is incorrect anyway, those numbers aren't the actually damage you are doing

Bump.

I want "Show enemy hp" and "All damage"

I agree that this feature might seem simple, but is very very VERY usefull for quite a lot of people.

I like seeing what kind of damage I do to different enemies, because some enemies have more resistance vs the attack that you do, meanwhile you have no way to know that. Do I do less % hp damage each hit to another mob because he simply has a ton of HP, or he has a ton of resist vs my attack? That is the question you really can't easily answer without damage numbers.

I agree. Nordic is wasting their time with "fixes" nobody is asking for while ignoring the obvious things people want like something as simple as "show damage".

If I have learned anything from my time talking with programmers. It's that nothing, absolutely nothing is "simple."

As for the "fixes nobody is asking for." I welcome them. I just wish they would've added the Show All Damage Option on release like was previously asked many times in their improvement thread.

Really? Because I made a mod to return some of the "changes" to their original values, and I don't know the first thing about programming. And that was simple enough for me to do.

I feel like I talked from a high-horsed point of view earlier so let me rephrase my earlier post. I don't know much of anything about programming, modding, or anything of the sort myself. Just from what I've spent with my time talking with programmers. I don't know anything about the insides of TQ. It could very well be easy or simpe, I don't know.

What I do know is that I am sad that it's not an official option already.

There's obviously quite a few fans that want this feature, hell, I've wanted it since the game came out in 2006. We need this in the game "officially" to where it actually works right and is accurate, and until this feature exists, I have no real interest in playing this and will just continue to play Grim Dawn instead.
You don't always get what you want.

Here you go...

https://www.sendspace.com/file/bqya8g

Used hexeditor on game.dll as described on titanquest forums.
http://www.titanquest.net/tq-forum/threads/55644-Show-all-damage-mod
"Back up your Game.dll first
Open Game.dll in a hex editor
Search for HEX values not STRING '0F 8A 4F 02 00 00'
Replace with '90 90 90 90 90 90'

damage number is important in this kind of numerical heavy game.
