Where should SEVEN launch next?
Hello dear players,

We are working harder than ever on making SEVEN: The Days Long Gone the best game available on Steam. In the past couple of months, we've got many questions about potential releases on different platforms. That's why we decided to ask you that theoretical question, which may lead to final decisions if the game happens to be a success:

Which platform would you like to see being supported from our side next? Consoles, PC dedicated online platforms, mobile or maybe even Casio calculators ;)

We are curious what you think our next step should be, and we're waiting for your comments below.

Take care!

Without having played the game it's difficult to know which systems it would play well on. What I would like to see, if possible, and indeed, something that always makes a game vastly more purchaseable for me, is if it supports mods. Mod support was the entire reason I bought and played NWN for years. If you supplement mod support with your own updates and dlcs you will lengthen the life of your game immensely.

Console obviously depends on whether you're making it with controllers in mind, but since there seems to be a fair number of people playing with controllers on their PC you could probably get feedback from Steam purchases.

I don't think I've played a single good RTS on a mobile device so I don't think it would translate well there

Consoles are a natural next step for a game like this. You already have controller support.
If you are asking for online stores other than Steam, GOG would be nice i think.

Thanks @everyone for a great feedback. Naturally, SEVEN will work great on the gamepad, so there are no limitations when it comes to controlling your character.

@Bertie SEVEN is an RPG rather than RTS ;)

Take care!

Probably didn't explain myself - I mean in terms of controlling the character. Moving and aiming whilst trying to use abilities on a touchscreen is something that (personally anyway) I find difficult. It's much easier using a mouse/keyboard or gamepad.

It's definitely easier. Some players care about the portability more though. That's why it's good to know your opinion too. Thanks :)

Best wishes!

I'll definatly pick up a copy if it came to Xbox. Just heard about this game through Rock,Paper,Shotgun. It looks amazing!!! Kind of reminds me of Ruiner which I prefered playing on console as well.

Thanks! The game runs perfectly with the gamepad on PC if that's what you're worrying about ;)

Take care!
