Glitched Traveller Achievement?

I just started playing this game today. On the map, I didn't know the one island was the tutorial, so I clicked it. I had already done the tutorial, so I exited it. After doing so, I got the Traveller achievment, and in my 'Profiles' page it says I have walked a RIDICULOUS amount of miles, the number is so long it runs off the left side. I read that a similiar thing happened to someone else. Has anyone else had this happen? Its not exactly a problem, I just thought it was strange.
