MAC - Cannot access Mann Co. Store

"You must enable Steam Community In-game to use the Mann Co. Store"

I have researched this error on the web, and I have tried enabling/disabling Steam In-Game, Restarting, etc. I have not found a solution that works. Everything is up to date, any ideas? Thanks!

This isn't a mac issue. You have to enable steam community in game. I believe it's in the launch options (right-click TF2 in your library)

Yup, I have done both of those, still no luck!

Go to steam library. Right click TF2. Go to properties. Uncheck "Enable steam community in-game." Quit steam. Start steam back up. Go back to your TF2 properties. Check "Enable steam community in-game." Quit Steam. Now when you start steam back up everything should work properly. I had to do this the other day.

aussieloco, just tried this, no luck. It's weird because I can still hit SHIFT+TAB and see the In Game Community stats, etc. but the store link keeps throwing that same message! I guess they don't want my money? :D

I have this, except I cant see my items either. I don't think this is a glitch with the item server, as my friends can all access it. I was on the same network as my friend, btu I still couldnt access it when he could.

Well, my item server problem is fixed now. And I havent checked the Mann.Co store in a while. Te community market is deffinately the way to go though.

Absolutely, I agree just a weird glitch. I uninstalled and reinstalled, same issue. I fired up a Windows 7 Virtual machine on the MAC, and the MANN store worked fine. Very odd, but at least there is a workaround. Kinda.

I play on a Macbook, and Mann Co store is inaccessible in the main menu. Looks like it's specifically a Mac problem, not sure about Linux. If you can't find what you're looking for in the Community Market, you can also look on the Mann Co. store website. http://store.teamfortress.com

Yep, Mann.Co store is still unavailable for me. Definately a Mac thing.

Absolutely the same problem here. I have an iMac, and just recently I have not been able to access the store at all. I have tried uninstalling TF2 from Steam, and then reinstalling to no avail, and also tried out the trick with enabling/disabling the in-game community access. Can someone tell me how to access the community store instead?

Same thing for me as well, the couple of days i am trying to see if there is a solid solution for this problem, and so far i have to buy from the http://store.teamfortress.com. But i noticed that in store today some items cost 50% less and when i went to buy-proceed to checkout, the prices of the discount items was not included.
