But really, what were Valve thinking, making people do things they don't even know shmitt about?
This was my 2nd time trying to do this. The 1st time I ended up completely erasing Windows 7 from my system.
Hence why I had to partition it myself. Apparently Ubuntu does not recognize Win 7 on Alienware PC's as something it can install alongside.
Any time I've installed Ubuntu, I've found the "install alongside" thing doesn't work very well, even when trying to install it alongside another Ubuntu installation.
And I'm pretty sure Dell isn't a big advocate of Linux, neither is Realtek in my experience.
