Don't open any crates. It's a huge waste of keys.

Source: opening about 100 crates without getting anything worth more than two refined.

Chances for an unusual are so ridiculously low that I wouldn't go for it.
Unless you actually need some strange weapons, then I guess that could be worth the try even though you could easily buy the stranges for a lot cheaper

I bought about 100 keys, and instead of buying something good, I opened a bunch of crates.

240+ crate here with no unusuals, best thing i got was a white paint from a crate worth a few ref anyway, just buy or give them to me :#

unboxing will lose you about 99,000% of all the money/items you spent on the keys and in return, the crates give you a rimmed raincatcher

Always fun to try your luck. Just look at the contents first, make sure you want at least a few of what is inside the crate. If you strike lucky and get an unusual, you'll be happy. If not, oh well maybe next time. You'll never know unless you take a risk.
