Increasing the Demoman's loadout diversity
Simply advert players from choosing the Demoknight combo by changing certain weapon stats. These weapons are The Ali Baba's Wee Booties, The Claidheamh Mor, and The Persian Persuader. What they all have in common is that they're the only weapons with stats that compliment the Charge n' Targe. I'm not suggesting changing these weapons entirely, but rather adding positive stats that compliment the alternitive sticky launcher. Therefore, any loadout with these 3 weapons proves equally usefull.

Don't you try to convince me that Booties/Sticky/Claidh is not viable as it stands >:(

Is there really a point to using a weapon if it has more cons than pros? Why have a -15 max hp for no reason? How exactly do you make the persian persuader work in situations where you're farther from the resuply locker?

Demo swords [with the exception of the Zaitoichi] grant you 37% longer melee range. If you are primarily using your stickylauncher giving away your grenadelauncher for 10 extra max hp and increased melee range is an option to consider.

And like every other unlock the Persuader is not meant to work out in every situation.

By the way, Luncay?
Your avatar feels familiar.. is that a piece of skia or culpeo by chance?

Like I said, I'm not asking to change the stats entirely. Just add positive ones for the sticky launcher (although, the Persian Persuader needs the all ammo = health stat to be changed).
For example: Ali Baba's Wee Booties
+25 max health on wearer
+100% turning control while charging
+20% resistance to owners stickies
(and yes, I know this would not benifit the sticky jumper, but the same could be said for the Gunboats)

I would like to play bagpipes as a Demoman. Maybe throw haggis too.

Well, my newest favorite loadout has came about because of the acquisition of a pan.

Cannon
Targe
Pan

It's actually a good half-demoknight loadout, and compliments agressive playstyles that dismiss sticky traps as a time waster when they could be on the front shooting/panning.

As with many loadouts, however, it's not good for high-level play.

Funny you say that. I prefer using the sticky launcher as a means to fall back on when using the Loose Cannon because it's demand for precision and timing to ensure effectiveness leads to lower firing speed. But that doesn't matter. What does matter is that I hate seeing the Persian Demo set because F2P find it a super easy strategy and most effective because the weapons coincide with eachother, but the fact of the matter is players know the strategy and know how to counter it on the spot.

I feel like the Claid should count heads like the Eyelander, but each head you take increases charge duration and recharge speed instead of health and movement speed, up to 5 heads, where you would have 2.5 extra seconds of charge and a charge that recharges at the same rate as the Persian Persuader.

Your missing the point. Re-read the description.

Alright, then. Taking heads would also make him "lighter" so that he can sticky jump farther and take less fall damage.
