I have run into many scammers.
Prevousily somebody tried to scam me for my kill-a-watt flipped tribly worth 145$ for a strange liberty launcher.
What have scammers tried to scam you for? and what did they offer?

A guy tried to phish me for my items by posing as a large TF2 group.
Wow,I never knew my stuff was that valuable.

Happens a lot in pub servers, some jerk just spends his time in spawn trying to trade everyone, its too bad admins aren't around enough to ban such people.

I only have been scammed once when some jerk on a trade server gave me 2 cheap hats for my freshly unboxed all father when I was starting out.

I've never had the experience of trying to get scammed. I don't accept random trade requests or friend requests. I feel like I'm missing out, honestly.

i honestly have never scammed before (besides my brother x) but so many little kids think im scamming them when THEY invite me to the trade, put several weapons out and say gimme a few hats, to which i reply add a strange or metal to balance the trade...

Not TF2 related item, but someone wanted to trade my Counter-Strike knife (which is basically an unusual hat) for his Origin account. Obvious scam is obvious.

Psh,who even uses Origin anymore?

I've gotten around 40 random friend requests over the past couple of months, I'm just going to assume that those were scammers :P

I got my first phishing link just a few days ago. Not sure whether I'm proud or angry.

I've received a few offers from sharks, but no one's ever tried to actually scam me.

I've gotten phishing adds from useless crate trades, it's annoying and funny at the same time.

I've never been scammed, but once I traded the rogue's brogues (shoes for the spy, were worth about 2.3 ref) for a medic class token. It wasn't scamming though, since I had asked for a medic token.

When I first turned p2p, I sold my Schaudenfreude for a Meet The Medic, then that Meet The Medic for 4 weapons.

And the guy I traded it to's account is totally dead. Seems like he quit a while after we made the trade.

A guy offered literally nothing but a scrap for my Collectors Killstreak Postal Pummeler, and another guy offered a few cards and emoticons for my Samur-eye, and tons of random weapons.
Also not really a scammer more of an idiot, kept begging me for a 60 dollar game, in return he said he would give me around 3 dollars worth of cards.
