New Strangifier Idea (Ageifier)
What if there was an unlockable item that acted like a strangifier.
This 'Ageifier' could be put on hats, unusuals, stranges, uniques, any item in tf2 that's tradable.
Putting the ageifier on an item starts a counter. This counter counts how many different people have had this exact item.
So say, for example, I have a hat, and an ageifier. I put the ageifier on the hat, and the counter goes up to '1'. Now say I trade this item to a friend, he gets it, and the counter goes up to '2'. He trades this to a friend, it goes up to '3', etc.
Now say the friend trades it back to me. The count stays at '3', because I have already owned the item. This prevents people from trade spamming each other to get the item high in ranks.
Speaking of ranks, there should be a rank system for it too. Maybe with 1 count, it could have a prefix (like a strange wep) of something like 'Brand New'. As the count goes higher and higher, it could change to things like 'Heirloom' or 'Hand-me-Down' or 'Artifact', etc. etc.
Maybe in the comments, discuss the rank names, and how many people they'd require?
I think this is a good idea.
Spread it around if you want this to happen.
I personally think it'd be great for unusuals.

counter 40 = scarcly cliche
counter 60 = slightly dusty
...
counter 1000 = vetreran's
counter 2000 = priceless antique
