B.A.S.E. Jumper OP?
I think it's a little op because if you have the Rocket Jumper you NEVER take damage, same with Demoman and his Sticky Jumper. And if you have The Cow Mangler 5000 you can stay in the air for pretty much an infinite amount of time because of the B.A.S.E. Jumper glitch: when you're on fire you literally just hover when it's deployed. Seems very OP, the glitch needs to be fixed and the B.A.S.E. Jumper should have some penalties like lower HP or a certain amount of time deployed until it closes. Just my opinion on it though, let me know what you think about it!

wow rocke tjumper + base jumper + makret gardner = WHAT DO YOU THINK?
if soldier uses rocket jumper hes only got one attack which is market gardener and thats easy to counter with lots of classes so thats not op. Same with demo amd his caber.

It's not OP with the jumpers. You are restricted to only your melee weapon. If you have a caber, then you have to go back to spawn for another one. If you have a shield, you can't charge. If you have the market gardener and you're trying to kill people, you're likely gonna get shot out of the air or sniped. If you're using the whip, then you must be doing the worst possible loadout challenge. And the fire thing is a glitch; that means fixing.

Slow-floating melee only class is overpowered?
Item is overpowered because it has a glitch?

You do realize that glitches are unintentional features, and so have no bearing on the gameplay surrounding a feature. Honestly, everyone's upset about an item that's only purpose is to keep Soldier airborn for a slight amount longer?

You are a slow moving and very vulnerable target (Note: You did mention the hovering thing with fire which is also a BIG weakness. Essentially... you are a Sniper, Heavy, Pyro with a Reseve Shooter or Flare Gun, Soldier, and Sentry fodder. and/or you + those things = you are dead.)
If you use a Rocket Jumper. You are now a Melee class which... well..., unless you are Demo, never ends well.

Note: Yes the chute can disengage... but think what you just landed right in front of with possibly no cover to speak of to get to quickly (even when using a Rocket Jumper). Yeah... it's underpowered actually.

Edit: Found out that Demos can wear this thing. Interesting... can you charge with this thing still engaged?

So far I've market gardened 25 people today, which usually I only get 5 in a day. B.A.S.E. Jumper seems not so overpowered with the Rocket Jumper because you're restricted to melee but it's way too easy to market garden people.

Meh, it makes it easier to market garden, but if anyone worth his or her salt is there, they'd just kill you before you land, knock you back, or just step outta the way.

It's like the Caber, it's not really OP or anything because it screws the demoman over, but allows him to hilariously gib one guy in the process.

It is a viable sidegrade to the shotgun just like the Banners.

No secondary weapon which makes you a sitting duck when out of ammo.

Gives height advantage for longer periods of time.

Not overpowered, especially not with the Market Gardener.

LOL, pointless nerf that would kill the point of the BASE jumper. It is fine at it is. Name ONE reason why you think it is overpowered.
