What happened to some of the maps?

They removed the good CTF maps and left the bad ones. What gives?
There are others but I'm too lazy to remember them.

Anyone know what happened?

I mean I think those 4 are the official maps that I can think of:

2fort, Turbine, Doublecross, and Landfall.

Any others would have to be a community/workshop map or whatever.

I completely forgot about sawmill! lol thanks guys.

ctf_sawmill, ctf_well, as well as cp_gullywash and another cp I can't remember.
Arena is completely absent too. I figured with competitive MM being added and hydro suddenly being a thing again they'd add that as well.

there's only koth_sawmill, which is terrible because it forces everyone into the middle instead of using the full extent of the map. But that's just my opinion.

yeah, once the whole 'war' thing between the heavy and pyro i expect valve to push some updates out in order to smooth all of this bs out lol. *fingers crossed* Hopefully they'll add all the 'good' maps back into rotation

Sawmill is good as koth map, and well is good as cp.
As ctf? lol.

Koth maps have always been a total cluster♥♥♥♥. Not as bad as payload though.

They both have their strengths and weaknesses in certain maps. Yukon is good, so is Barnblitz. Badwater and Gold Rush are a total mess, with guarentee caps and ridiculous choke points.
