What Steam rules? So Steam does not allow to bring patches live? Cause it's not more than that. And you can't convince me that the game was selled more often over there than here in europe. + What impact should the time have on sells?

Steam has standard release times and unless you pay $ you ain't setting your own release time.

It cost more money to release game on Steam outside of regular release window.

Larian has studios in those "murican" time zones, and they naturally want to have all hands on deck for the release of this game.
Would have been self-evident, if you just stopped to think before going on such a ridiculous rant.
