Performance Information Gathering
This thread is to give users a centralized location to give us info about perf issues. We've noted that some users are reporting frameloss or lower than expected performance across the board where similar or exact same hardware is not.

If you can provide the following information it may help:

OS:
Exact Hardware (CPU, GPU, Ram amount):
Graphical Settings:
Map specific if applicable:
Situation specific if applicable (example: during artillery strikes):
Security software:
Location specific if applicable (example: where in a map this happens):

Very Poor Performance
Hi, I've just received a key for Rising Storm 2 and I'm incredibly excited to play, as I'm planning to buy it in the future. However in the current state of the game I'm getting very low FPS/stuttering.

My specs are:

GTX 750ti
Intel i5-2320
6 GB RAM

I know it isn't flashy and many of the new game releases this year I'm having trouble running. However, I can still run For Honor on medium settings with 60 frames, and Ghost Recon Wild lands on Low with around 60 frames, at 1080p. And I've had zero problems running Red Orchestra 2 at very high settings with smooth FPS/no stuttering.

I can't run this game smoothly, so I put the resolution to 1600x900 and all my setting on low (I will try lowest today) and I'm still getting terrible performance. I know I shouldn't hope to get good frames with decent graphics, but I should at least be getting a smooth experience on low.

Any help would be appreciated. Will the performance be fixed at full release?

I'm having the same problems and I have an i5-2320 too, which I think is the problem.
I have a GTX 960 4GB which should be able to run this game so it must be the cpu. Its too outdated. I'm going to upgrade to an i5-6600k next week and then try get into the next beta wave. You should probably upgrade too if you can afford it.

Well also the game is pretty unoptimized. On a 1070 with a 4790k my frames are all over the place. Just needs time to optimize

Yeah I'm sure it will be more stable on release.

Same, i've got a GTX 970 and an i5-7600k and for some reason the game runs EXTREMELY poorly, almost to the point where it's unplayable and runs at 2 - 3 FPS when getting shot at.

Perhaps something to do with i5?

I have an i5 4460 and it runs ok for me.

That's what you get for using an outdated engine.

This engine only takes 2 cores...

I'm running a 4700 i7, 970, 16gb ram and getting 120+ fps on everything maxed.

Similar PC but I've got a far worse CPU. i3 2120. Gtx660ti. 6Gb RAM.

I get the usual CPU bottleneck now and then however 6gb ram is not enough for this game. I run the MSI Afterburner overlay and the RAM bottoms out after a few minutes and then the crazy stutter happens as the game then starts using the swap file. Putting almost everything to low kept my total system ram at about 5.2GB and solved the problem.

Unreal Engine 3 at it again.

I have a 3820 i7, 970, 16gb and I'm getting around 100 constantly, everything maxed, with shadows set to low.

I was worried I wouldn't be able to play it on my craptop because I got an i7-2670 @2.2 and a GTX560m 3GB. I'm pretty happy with the performance, it's very playable for me on low, especially for beta.

I do have 12 GB of ram though, that might be helping.
