AMD users having preformance problems! Crossfire fix!
For those with single cards-

TAA off(Nvidea AA has never boded well with AMD)...also godrays kill frames dramatically as well as Bokeh DOF.

For those with Xfire set-ups-

Keep Bokeh DOF off!!!!! it has never worked with two cards in my experience, and cuts the frames by 2/3rds on my two cards.

Keep TAA off as well as motion blur.

The Skyrim profile works incredible for framepacing. I switched to it and noticed a HUGE difference in how smooth the game was...completely eliminated hitching and stuttering as well as some of the flicker that was prevelent in some of the textures.

I also disabled Vsync in the two .ini files but have yet to experiment with the Skyrim xfire profile with it on. A link is below if you need help finding the .ini files to disable Vsync.

I've been using FXAA, Low Godrays, and Low DOF this entire time and my performance still sucks on an R9 270X.
Getting 60 FPS 1440p with 2 7950's...sorry it didn't help you much but I'm Xfire users will benefit greatly

I have an R9 270X as well and my performance is surpisingly good at ultra. I think im running close to 60 fps at times. Its kind of perplexing that people with better specs than mine are having trouble.

I have an:
i5 760@ 2.8ghz
R9 270X OC 2gb gigabyte edition
8 gbs of ram

Would you mind posting your exact specific settings including any .ini edits you've made? i have the exact same setup and absolutely could not get Crossfire to give me any appreciable FPS improvement over a single card. Would love to know how you're pulling this off.

It's all BS. Crossfire does not work on this game. You can set all the settings you want and it will show gpu2 activity but nothing appreciative is gained.
I know this is a old thread but I would like to thank you. You fixed my problem with stuttering using R9 390 in crossfire.
