An excellent peak old-school Assassin's Creed game that does just about everything right, with polished combat, stealth, an enjoyable environment to explore and two fun protagonists you can play as side by side. If you miss how the older games in the AC series used to be, this one is for you.

This installment of the pseudohistorical stabventure is pretty good.
I've been playing them in order of release and I enjoyed this one more than the last one.

That being said, it has some issues.
You can't pet any of the cats.
It seems profoundly "off" to play as siblings considering the whole "genetic memory" angle.
It's got it's standard array of bugs allowing you fun experiences such as getting stuck inside a water pipe that you're not supposed to be able to enter in the first place, and the like.

As before in the franchise the characters sometimes have their own ideas of where they want to go so they might give up the pursuit of a target to run in circles along the rim of a water fountain.... as one does.

The villain is a little more cartoony evil than previously but it doesn't feel like it takes away from the story because the story isn't really about him, or the sibling's conflict with him.
The story is really about the Frye siblings.
