I had problem launching it. When I press play button I got these errors in terminal
libGL error: unable to load driver: i965_dri.so
libGL error: driver pointer missing
libGL error: failed to load driver: i965
libGL error: unable to load driver: i965_dri.so
libGL error: driver pointer missing
libGL error: failed to load driver: i965
libGL error: unable to load driver: swrast_dri.so
libGL error: failed to load driver: swrast

If you get something similar, try renaming or removing libstdc++.so.6 file in Black Mesa/bin/ folder.
Hmmm, could be some linking errors on our part also. Thanks for reporting this.
Try to verify your cache. That usually happens because of missing texture/material.

Cache verification found two corrupted files and redownloaded them. But those heads still glitching.

Well, it's not so major bug as it works fine.

Interesting. Did the heads start to glitch at some point or were they always like that?

Also could you report your computer specs, driver version and distro used? This way we can see if the problem is hardware related.

Play's the intro for a bit (Train Ride) then crashes back to desktop, Maxed all settings and lowered all settings still the same, terminal end output:

Yes. On Questionable Ethics chapter after when we recovered scientists and returned to main hall and the assault began. Before that these were ok.

Also noticed that on multiplayer server. Not sure when exactly did occur.

I played on Arch Linux x64 on radeon hd 8750m with mesa 12.0.3

I'm tempted to re-install the game on my 500GB SSD drive instead of my 11TB raid. That has caused problems for some games in the past.

Problem #1 Resolved: Moved game to smaller partition fixed the memory errors.

Hi! Thanks for the Linux release, and for this thread.

I crash on the tram intro, without fail, when the tram passes the helicopter.
Let me know which details I should give you.

Thanks!

EDIT: Running Arch Linux, x86_64, NVIDIA proprietary drivers, version 375.10

If you get something similar, try renaming or removing libstdc++.so.6 file in Black Mesa/bin/ folder.

This is a recurring issue with Linux gaming if you're running open-source drivers. What happens is your drivers were made with a newer version of libstdc++.so and the game is trying to use an older version, causing a conflict. Deleting the game's libstdc++.so fixes it, as you said.

I have had this problem with Steam itself, and with HuniePop from GOG.

I also had this same problem in roughly the same area. I was in the area where the Tau Cannon is acquired and this began to happen. Haven't seen it since I restarted the game.
