Same "problem" here, tried removing vsync from vga driver but it seems to be an engine issue...

This is a port from console. It's possible the framerate could simply be built into the game engine.

Really there is no need for frame rates higher than 30. 30 frames will give you perfectly fluid animation. I would suggest increasing post processing effects instead of fps. Force them from your display drivers. SweetFX. ENBseries. Etc.

The game was ment to be played at 30fps that is all there is to it. And it plays very well if you have the hardware to play it if not that is your problem and not the game or desginers fault.

There is a 60fps "fix" out there - somewhere. Unfortunately the link is down:

All framerates above 30 does is make the animations more fluid (and I really don't care how fluid it looks since I play on sub-par equipment so I'm just happy to play it). If you watch movies in a movie theatre, that is only 24 fps just fyi.

Seriously, you comparing a static movie where you only watching to a game where you have your direct input and controlling the character?
60fps does not just give you "more fluid movement" but reduces input lag also. Its a whole different thing to watch a movie and play a game.
We are surely happy that you can play the game at all but 30fps is just very uncomfortable for the rest of us.

This brings memories of late 90's when i first heard this discussion :D

thanks.

That 60fps fix is sorely needed. It's like someone taking a plastic bag off your head so you can finally breathe again.

Oh, and watching film at 60fps is better, too, for things like documentaries, when it's about real life and not fiction. The latter look kinda weird at 60fps IMO.

This works, however, at 61 fps gripped items fly upwards constantly. Anyone know how to fix the upward flying gripped objects problem?

So that's why that happens? Weird.

I'm noticing the flying upward "problem" too. In my opinion not that big of a deal sins you can easily adjust it with the right stick (playing with controller). But are there any parts in the game that get broken by that bug? So far it didn't prevented me from going on. But maybe there is a part where this can prevent you from progressing?
