Primal Carnage: Extinction

Primal Carnage: Extinction

This topic has been pinned, so it's probably important
New dinosaurs?
Will there be any new ones? Seems like theres at most 2 differnet ones then the original game

It's a pity, but balancing the current roster was hard enough honestly.

Nope in near future

Acrocanthosaurus is entirely new to Extinction, and the "premium skins" from the first game are subclasses. We initially planned to add more subclasses such as Pachycephalosaurus and Ceratosaurus, but haven't had the time or resources to do this just yet. Until we properly announce something, don't expect any new classes.

It's possible that depending on the game's sales going forward, we may still look at adding new dinosaurs or humans. HOWEVER, adding new classes is a huge task, so if we were to do this it would take quite a while (Acro was in dev for about ~3 months) and would require us bringing on more developers. Right now we just don't have the resources to devote to this.

Well If any help needed [for free] I'm sure there is a lot of talented Primal lovers who would give all they got. Like me :D I'm of to an animation school and charecter design and lerning how to make propper skins for models.

I know this has been going back a very long time but do you guys ever think about looking back into kaprosuchus or even an adult dilophosaurus sometime later down on the road?

Also I really do hope the game can still have a prosperous future where we will be able to get new dinosaurs into the game :).

I think pachy would be a great idea, it could be an alternate dino for the bruiser...(carno) Same goes for cerato. I like the idea of them possibly adding a herbivore and ceratosaurus is one of my favourite dinos. I hope they continue making the core gameplay better, bad mechanics and bugs were the reason I left this game. But things seem to be getting promising so I might come back

pachy is stupid idea because why would he attack humans if pachy is herbi ?
Stardust Blur Jul 20, 2016 @ 8:56am
*and the endless discussion about why a herbivore should attack humans starts again gooood*
Personally, I don't care if pachy is a herbivore, I just like the idea of pachy as bruiser because it would be something different from what we already have.
PC:E has already a hybrid (=Novaraptor), oversized and inaccurate dinos, who cares if they add an aggressive pachy that wants to wreck humans? It's a game.

its stupid idea and thats the end of discussion shut up !!!!

Waoh that saltiness, someone doesn't like that not everyone thinks pachy is a "stupid idea".

WHY WOULD PACHY BE AGGRESSIVE AGAINST HUMANS ???!!!
Stardust Blur Jul 20, 2016 @ 9:40am
Because this is a game that threw the realism out of the window since the beginning.
Daro Silvertail Jul 20, 2016 @ 10:02am
anyway for pachy they would need to create new type of health regeneration because pachy WASNT CARNIVORE !!!
Harry Nurpplez Jul 20, 2016 @ 11:13am
It was rumored by the devs that the dinos have chips in their brains that make them super aggressive.

why would that matter? this is a videogame, we could make it eat human flesh if we wanted to and handwave it however we like. This isn't a documentary, it's not a simulation, it's a fictional universe founded on mad science. Although at the end of the day, the discussion is kind of moot considering the points I brought up in my previous post.
