After "Army of Ruin" this seems pretty basic. I'm 1.6 hours in and I doubt there will be any surprises after this.

You can't even tell the current level of your power-ups during a run!
And I have no idea what the page of triplets is supposed to mean.

The only thing I can recommend is that 'gold' is spent on specific characters' upgrades instead of generic stuff... EXCEPT those upgrades are pretty similar between characters, so it seems like they just want you to grind to get the same things AGAIN.

This does feel a bit more mindless, like every run is the same thing.
Though the characters do play slightly differently.

You'll find yourself sticking to specific builds which does limit the enjoyability of the game, but even with that it's still a load of fun, the graphics are great, the characters (for the most part) are interesting to play and work on, and the maps are enjoyable, it's far from perfect but it's amongst the best i've played in a long time even making me want to unlock everything and 100% the game, 8/10 but could be 9-10/10 if more content is released in the future
