Every game in Steam needs updated?
All the sudden, every single game in my Steam library needed updated. Is this a glitch or is someone trying to give me a virus? That was my first thought. The reason I post this in GTA disscussions is because a bunch of people hate me online and it's possible one of them did this if it is a virus.

It seems Steam is downloading Directx files for all games that uses those.

I know, i deliberatly take them all out too, when you have hundreds of games it winds up taking up alot of space. :(

This is highly unacceptable.

Delete to redownload to delete loops.

Got to say, this is not on Valve.
Some of us have slow internet connections, some even have data caps! Implement a more graceful procedure.

Deleting files, only for the EXACT files to be re-downloaded is a stupidly floored system.

Prepare for all of those titles to redownload 100 to 400 megabytes... Each!
Welcome to my suffering.

0 byte to download... So nothing downloaded...

That's because it's running a SCRIPT instead.
So while nothing has downloaded, the client still received a moronic "delete these files" command from the servers. This then triggers the "update available" alarm bells for the client shortly after.

Restarting Steam doesn't do nuts though. It just goes ahead and resumes downloading them.
